The New Headless Vyra MCP
No more browser shenanigans for your MCP agent + usage reset!
By Caleb Pong

Since the start of Vyra's MCP, you had to connect a live browser window with a project open in order for an agent to edit videos within Vyra. This was the beginning of many issues that we tried to fix with patches over the last few months; browsers dropping connection, not being able to work on multiple projects at a time, etc.
Today, we're excited to announce Vyra's NEW headless MCP - the last MCP you'll ever need for your video purposes

We rebuilt Vyra's MCP server from the ground up to make it fully headless; Vyra can now create projects, access your library, and edit videos without needing an open browser. In fact, Vyra's MCP can even work with your laptop closed, with your agents running in the cloud! We've given your agent it's own editing container on our servers so that it can continue running even when you're not at your laptop. We've reset everyone's usage so that you have an opportunity to test it out! Here's a few of the things that Vyra MCP can do now:

1. Edit directly from your phone's Claude app: Vyra now works completely in the cloud, so you can upload footage straight into claude, have it create one (or multiple) projects, and export the video when it's done. Feel free to turn your phone off while it's working!

2. Generate Voiceovers, Images, Sound effects, Music: We've made it super easy for your agent to generate many different types of media for your project :)
3. Work on multiple projects at once: You can have one (or multiple) agent sessions work on different projects, all at once now! This used to be constrained by the browser tab connection.
All of your projects will, of course, be available as actual editable videos in our mobile/web app!
If your agent isn't getting the new update:
try refreshing the tools list, reconnecting the Vyra MCP connector, starting a new session, and reloading your AI app! Please contact me at caleb@usevyra.com if you're having any issues!
Happy Editing (or lack thereof),
