The whole edit in one prompt

Cut my clips into a 90-second all-nighter painting vlog for TikTok. Follow this order.
- 0-4s: the time, the blank canvas, the deadline
- 4-25s: 11pm to 1am, setup and block-in, quick timestamps
- 25-45s: 2am to 4am, the dip, music quieter, a tired check-in
- 45-60s: 4am to 6am, the push, fast canvas progress
- 60-75s: dawn, the window, the piece in real light
- 75-90s: one honest closing line, piece held still
Pacing: a timestamp every 8-12 seconds, faster as the night goes, slow at dawn.
Open with this. The time and the state of the canvas ("11:40 pm, it's blank, it's due at 9")
Captions: timestamps as titles, phrases over the talking.
Music: upbeat, drops to quiet around 3am, lifts at dawn.
Avoid these. Only canvas, no you. Skipping the low point. Ending before dawn.
When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.

One step at a time

What to say when it's off

  • Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 70 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
  • Captions. Captions over your face. "Move captions to the lower third."
  • Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
  • Music. Music fights the voice. "Lower the music to 15% whenever I'm talking."
