The whole edit in one prompt

Cut my clips into a 30-second beat-synced edit for TikTok. Follow this order.
- 0-1s: first cut on the first beat
- 1-15s: cuts on every beat, alternating shot types
- 15-18s: a hold or slow-mo on a pause in the track
- 18-28s: the drop, cuts on half-beats, zooms and flashes
- end on the last hit, hard cut to black
Pacing: locked to the track, often every beat.
Open with this. First beat is the first cut, no intro.
Music: the reason the video exists.
Avoid these. Cuts a few frames off. Every cut the same type. No break from the rhythm.
When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.

One step at a time

What to say when it's off

  • Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 25 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
  • Hook. Hook starts slow. "Start on the frame where the movement begins."
  • Music. Cuts land off the beat. "Move every cut onto the nearest beat."
