The whole edit in one prompt
Cut my clips into a 90-second lessons learned video for TikTok. Follow this order. - 0-3s: the outcome and how many lessons - 3-8s: the proof on screen - 8-70s: each lesson, what I did, what happened, what I'd do now - 70-80s: the one that matters most - 80-85s: what's next Pacing: one lesson per 15-20 seconds. Open with this. The result as a number, "I posted 100 videos. 3 things I'd change." Captions: phrase captions plus a card per lesson. Music: light, neutral. Avoid these. Generic lessons. No proof. Too many lessons. When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.
One step at a time
- Lessons learned video rough cut prompts. Length, beat order, and pacing.
- Lessons learned video caption prompts. Style, position, and which words get bigger.
- Lessons learned video hook prompts. The first few seconds and the cut after them.
- Lessons learned video music prompts. Track, volume, and cutting on the beat.

What to say when it's off
- Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 70 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
- Captions. Captions over your face. "Move captions to the lower third."
- Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
- Music. Music fights the voice. "Lower the music to 15% whenever I'm talking."
- B-roll. B-roll stays too long. "Come back to my face after 3 seconds of b-roll."
