The whole edit in one prompt

Cut my clips into a 30-second POV video for TikTok. Follow this order.
- 0-1s: POV text on frame
- 1-15s: the scene, talking to the lens
- 15-20s: the twist or the awkward beat
- end on the reaction
Pacing: one scene, real time, 1-3 cuts.
Open with this. "POV: you're the new hire and it's your first standup"
Captions: POV text held the whole video, speech captions optional.
Music: ambient or a trending sound.
Avoid these. Camera not at eye level. Looking off-lens. A scenario that needs explaining.
When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.

One step at a time

What to say when it's off

  • Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 25 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
  • Captions. Captions over your face. "Move captions to the lower third."
  • Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
  • Music. Music fights the voice. "Lower the music to 15% whenever I'm talking."
