The whole edit in one prompt
Cut my clips into a 90-second product demo video for TikTok. Follow this order. - 0-3s: the finished result - 3-8s: what we're going to do - 8-60s: the task, action by action, labeled - 60-75s: the result again, with how long it took - 75-85s: where to try it Pacing: 2-5 seconds per action, no waiting. Open with this. The end result first, then "here's how" Captions: phrase captions plus a label per action. Music: neutral, low, no vocals. Avoid these. Every menu. Features instead of the task. Tiny UI in a vertical frame. When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.
One step at a time
- Product demo video rough cut prompts. Length, beat order, and pacing.
- Product demo video caption prompts. Style, position, and which words get bigger.
- Product demo video hook prompts. The first few seconds and the cut after them.
- Product demo video music prompts. Track, volume, and cutting on the beat.
- Product demo b-roll prompts: show the thing while you talk about it. Which shots to pull and where they go.
What to say when it's off
- Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 70 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
- Captions. Captions over your face. "Move captions to the lower third."
- Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
- Music. Music fights the voice. "Lower the music to 15% whenever I'm talking."
