The whole edit in one prompt
Cut my clips into a 180-second story time video for TikTok. Follow this order. - 0-3s: the cliffhanger line - 3-10s: minimum context, two names max - 10-90s: what happened, in order, a small reveal every 10 seconds - 90-110s: the big reveal - 110-120s: how it ended, one line Pacing: fast cuts, punch in on every reveal. Open with this. A cliffhanger, "so I get a text from my landlord at 2am" Captions: word-by-word or short phrases, high contrast. Avoid these. 20 seconds explaining who everyone is. Losing the thread. Flat delivery. When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.
One step at a time
- Story time video rough cut prompts. Length, beat order, and pacing.
- Story time video caption prompts. Style, position, and which words get bigger.
- Story time video hook prompts. The first few seconds and the cut after them.
What to say when it's off
- Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 135 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
- Captions. Captions over your face. "Move captions to the lower third."
- Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
