The whole edit in one prompt

Cut my clips into a 90-second tutorial video for TikTok. Follow this order.
- 0-3s: the finished result
- 3-8s: what you need, as a list on screen
- 8-70s: the steps, numbered and labeled
- 70-80s: the result again, plus one common mistake
- 80-90s: what to try next
Pacing: 8-15 seconds per step.
Open with this. The finished result plus "here's how in N steps"
Captions: step labels plus phrase captions.
Music: neutral, low.
Avoid these. Skipping a step. Talking about the step instead of showing it. No result at the start.
When you're done, list what you changed with timestamps so I can check.

One step at a time

What to say when it's off

  • Rough cut. Too long. "Cut it to 70 seconds. Drop the weakest part first."
  • Hook. Hook starts late. "Cut the breath and the half second before I start talking."
  • Music. Music fights the voice. "Lower the music to 15% whenever I'm talking."
