How to shoot it
- Do the task once off camera and write the steps down.
- Film each step as its own clip, hands or screen big in frame.
- Say the step number and name at the start of each clip.
- Close-up on anything small.
- Film the result from two angles.
How to edit it
- Result first, 3 seconds.
- Numbered label at the top of each step.
- Cut the hesitation inside a step, keep the action continuous.
- Zoom in on the tricky step.
- Speed up repetitive parts 2-3x with a label saying so.
- Captions on all speech.
