Professional editors typically price one of three ways. Hourly, per finished minute, or per video. Rates vary a lot by experience, country, and format. A short social clip is usually the cheapest job, a polished 10-minute YouTube video with b-roll and graphics the most expensive, and monthly retainers sit in between.
