More on Instagram

Vyra is a video editor. It has the timeline, tracks, captions, music, motion graphics, and export settings you'd expect, and an AI that has already watched your footage. Use it like a normal editor, describe the edit and let the AI build it, or switch between the two on the same project. It runs on the web at app.usevyra.com and on iPhone.

What's in the editor

Two ways to edit, one project

By hand. Drag clips on the timeline, trim to the frame, type a caption, set a volume. The editor works like any other.

By description. Type what you want and the AI does the clicking. "Cut this to 60 seconds, best takes only." "Make 'eighty percent' bigger and yellow." It edits the same timeline you see, so you can take over at any point.

Most people do both. Let the AI make the rough cut and the captions, then fix the last few things by hand.

Prompts to paste

Build a rough cut from these clips. Keep my best take of each point, cut pauses over half a second, and keep the order I spoke in. No captions or music yet.
Add captions, 3 to 5 words each, bold white with a thin outline, lower third. Then add the track I uploaded at 25% under my voice.
