Vyra for agencies: many clients, one conversational editing workflow

Vyra lets an agency editor describe a client's style once, then cut every deliverable for that client by prompt from real footage.

By Sulan Zhang, co-founder of Vyra · Updated 2026-09-24

Agency editing is the same job over and over. A locked style, a pile of footage, a list of deliverables due Friday. Vyra edits the footage from a written brief and keeps each client's caption, title, and logo rules across every cut. A junior editor gets the first pass done, a senior finishes it in the timeline.

A real week with Vyra

Three client projects open at once. A dental group, a SaaS founder, a local gym. Each project got a style lock on day one, so every later prompt inherited that client's captions, logo position, and music level.

From the founder interview, cut a 60-second 9:16 clip of the strongest answer about churn, a 30-second clip of the customer result, and a 15-second hook clip from "we doubled it in a quarter". Same style as this project. List the timestamps for each.

Nine deliverables across the three clients came out of Tuesday and Wednesday, three prompts each. Thursday the gym sent notes on cut 2. One follow-up handled all of them.

Move the logo to top right, cut the intro by 3 seconds, swap the b-roll at 0:18 for the squat rack shot. Nothing else changes. Frame at 0:18 when done.

The senior editor opened the timeline Friday for a two-minute polish on the SaaS clips and exported everything at 4K.

What you make

Your three most-used prompts

Style lock

This client's style is captions in Montserrat Black, white with a thin black outline, 3-4 words per line, lower third. Logo top left at 8% width the whole time. Music never above 25% under speech. Titles in their navy, hex 1B2A4A. Use this on every cut in this project unless I say otherwise.

Deliverables batch

From the interview, make one 60-second 9:16 cut of the strongest answer, one 30-second cut of the customer result, and one 15-second hook clip from the line "we doubled it in a quarter". Same style. List the timestamps you used for each.

Client revisions

Client notes on cut 2. Move the logo to top right, shorten the intro by 3 seconds, swap the b-roll at 0:18 for the warehouse shot. Nothing else changes. Show me a frame at 0:18 when done.

A typical workflow

  1. One project per client. Upload footage, logo, fonts, and a reference video of their look.
  2. Write the style lock prompt once. Every later prompt inherits it.
  3. Ask for one deliverable per message. Ask for timestamps so QA is quick.
  4. Paste client notes as a prompt. One change per message if the notes conflict.
  5. A senior editor polishes in the timeline and exports per platform.

What Vyra does that matters for you

  • Style by description per project, so the look doesn't depend on who's on shift.
  • Reference matching from a client's best video. Pacing, captions, music, color.
  • Transcript and scene search across a shoot. "Every time the founder says pricing."
  • Timestamped change lists on request. Client QA takes two minutes.
  • MCP plans from $24/mo per seat if your team already runs on Claude or ChatGPT. Pro tiers export 4K.

What it does not do

  • It doesn't generate footage, avatars, or stock. Shoot or license the material.
  • It doesn't manage approvals or scheduling. Export and use your review tool.

FAQ

Can two editors work on the same client project? Yes, both can open it in the browser. Agree who owns which cut so nobody overwrites the other.

Will it follow brand rules across every cut? Set them once as a style lock and say "same style" on each cut. Check one frame per deliverable.

Can we deliver 4K? Yes on Pro tiers. Starter tiers export up to 1440p.
