Teaching video is long and full of pauses, tangents, and "let me find that slide." Vyra transcribes the whole recording, lets you cut by describing what to keep, and captions every word. One 60-minute recording becomes a tight lesson plus a few clips for promotion.

A real week with Vyra

A 40-minute lesson recording on supply and demand, plus the slides as a screen recording. The aim was a 6-minute lesson for the course platform and a 45-second preview for the landing page.

Cut this to a 6-minute lesson. Remove the first 3 minutes of setup, every pause over 1 second, and the tangent about the exam date. Keep the three worked examples. When I say "next slide" show the slide with me small in the bottom right. Phrase captions on the whole thing. Title card at each chapter using the chapter names I say out loud.

It came back at 6:20 with four chapter cards, "Supply," "Demand," "Equilibrium," "Shocks." One slide cut in too early, fixed with "hold me on camera until I finish the sentence at 2:41." The preview was one more line, "a 45-second 9:16 preview using the definition of equilibrium and the first example, word-by-word captions." Both exported Wednesday, 16:9 for the course and 9:16 for the landing page.

Lesson cleanup

Trim this 55-minute recording to the lesson only. Remove the first 4 minutes of setup, every pause over 1 second, and the tangent about parking. Keep the Q&A at the end. Phrase captions, white, lower third, whole video. Title card at each section change using the section names I say out loud.

Slide sync

When I say "next slide" or "as you can see here", cut to the screen recording of the slides for as long as I'm on that slide, then back to me. Keep me small in the bottom right while the slide is up.

Promo clips

Find the three clearest 30-second explanations in this lesson, where I state a concept and give one example. Cut each as a 9:16 clip with word-by-word captions and a title card naming the concept.

A typical workflow

Upload the recording, your slides as a screen recording, and any demo clips.
Describe the lesson cut. What to remove, where slides go, caption style.
Fix one thing per message. "The slide at 12:40 should stay up longer."
Ask for clips for your landing page or social.
Export 16:9 for the course platform and 9:16 for promotion.
