Skit video: how to shoot, edit, and prompt it
A skit is a short scripted comedy scene, often one person playing two characters with a costume change, cut so every line lands.

Structure
- 0-3s: the conflict line
- 3-30s: back and forth, escalating
- 30-40s: the punchline
- end on the other character's reaction
How to shoot it
- Script it. Every line under 8 words if you can.
- Lock the phone on a tripod. Move yourself, not the camera.
- Character A on the left, character B on the right.
- One obvious change per character. Hat, glasses, jacket.
- Record every reaction shot. Listening faces get used a lot.
How to edit it
- Cut on each line, alternating sides.
- Trim the air out of every exchange.
- Drop reaction shots on the strongest lines.
- Captions in one color per character, every time.
- Sting on the punchline, then cut.
Prompt it in Vyra
This is a two-character skit, I play both. Character A is the takes where I'm wearing the cap, character B is the takes without it. Cut the dialogue back and forth using the script order in my notes, tight with no pauses, and add captions colored blue for A and yellow for B. Add a short sound sting on the last line and end right after.
Insert the reaction take of character B after A's line "that's not a real job".

How do I keep characters distinct? One prop and one side of the frame each. Same caption color every time helps.
