How to batch film a week of content in one session
Batch filming is shooting five to seven videos in one two or three hour block, then editing one a day. It's how I post daily without living in the studio.

Batch filming is shooting five to seven videos in one two or three hour block. Same setup, same outfit, then the edits run across the week. The slow part of a video is the setup and the deciding, and batching pays that once.
Why it matters
Posting daily grows accounts.
The method
- Write seven hooks before you set up. One line each. If I can't write the hook, the video isn't ready.
- Set up once. Light, tripod, framing, audio. Check a 5 second test clip and don't touch it again.
- Film in order of energy. Hardest talking video first. Silent process footage last.
- Two takes each. Take one is the rehearsal, take two is the video. The third is usually worse.
- Change one thing between videos. A different shirt or angle so the week doesn't look like one day.
- Upload everything to one project. Vyra indexes it once. Each day's edit is then a prompt.
- Edit one, queue six. Cut the first the same day while it's fresh.

Examples
- Sunday at 2pm. Seven hooks on a sticky note. Four talking heads in a row at 30 minutes each, then two process videos at the easel, then a sketchbook flip. Done by 5. Monday to Sunday is one prompt a day.
- Three supply reviews in one sitting with the same overhead rig. Three matching posts for the setup cost of one.
Do it in Vyra

Cut take 3 (the one about pricing commissions) into a 45-second Reel: best take of each point, no pauses, 3-5 word captions. Ignore the other takes.
Using the same caption style, music, and length as the video you cut yesterday, cut take 4 into today's post.
Common mistakes
- Filming without hooks written, so half the session is thinking.
- Re-lighting between videos.
- Ten takes of one video.
- Editing all seven on Sunday night and burning out.
FAQ
How far ahead should I batch? One week. Two if you're traveling. Past that it goes stale.
Can vlogs be batched? The talking parts can. Film seven check-ins on Sunday and pair each with that day's real footage.
