How to post consistently without burning out

One format you can repeat, one filming block a week, one editing pattern the AI runs, and a schedule you set once. Consistency is a system.

The people who post daily for a year aren't more disciplined. They removed the decisions. One format they can repeat. One filming block a week. One editing pattern that runs the same way every time. A schedule set once. When each post is a prompt and a publish instead of a project, daily gets easy.

Why it matters

Every platform rewards volume, and everyone who quit did it because each video cost too much.

The method

  1. Pick the frequency your worst week allows. If a bad week allows three, commit to three.
  2. One format. Decide what a post is so you never decide again.
  3. One filming block. Same day, same time, every week.
  4. One editing pattern. Same length, captions, music behavior. Save it as a prompt.
  5. Schedule the week on filming day.
  6. Keep three in the buffer. Three finished videos you haven't posted. That's what absorbs a bad week.
  7. Track the streak, not the numbers. For 60 days the only metric is whether you posted.

Examples

  • A student with studio time on Sundays. Film Sunday, post Monday to Friday. Five a week, and the buffer covers exam weeks.
  • A founder posting "day N" vlogs. The footage is the day itself, the check-in is 20 seconds, the edit is one saved prompt. Under 10 minutes a post.

Do it in Vyra

Save this as my standard edit: 30-45 seconds, 9:16, open on the strongest line, cut all pauses over 0.4 seconds, 3-5 word white captions in the lower third, music at 20% under my voice. Apply it to today's footage.
Apply my standard edit to each of the five takes in this project and give me five separate exports named by their opening line.
Same standard edit, but this one is a process video with no talking, so no captions, and bring the music to 60%.

Common mistakes

  • Committing to daily on week one and quitting on week three.
  • No buffer, so one bad week ends the streak.
  • Editing each video like it's the first.
  • Checking analytics every day in the first 60 days.

FAQ

Is daily necessary? No. Three a week for six months beats daily for six weeks.

The video isn't good enough? Post it. In the first 60 days the streak matters more, and your sense of "good enough" isn't calibrated yet.
